THE WOLF
And when the man up there
When he stares at your malfunctions
At your malnutrition that reeks of pain
When they joust and juggle
Your life manhandled by their dirty hands
When city walls carve after the trumpet song
And disguise and greed is undressed
When the Emperor sees that he is naked
And the Politician resigns from his high table
And when the comedy of errors is realigned
Humour and tragedy dispelled into one
And the high table lowered to the ground
And all the silver platters made into iron
When the gong is heard by Jack and Jill
And Jekyll and Hyde shake their hands
Only then will we see the wolf in sheep’s skin
