TEMPTATION, BREAKING FREE

Suddenly they yank me,

Clank me!

Stamp me!

Clamp me with cold iron

Bank me in steel pylons.

Suddenly I am a gagged minion

A bird caged in crude oblivion

 

Suddenly they clamp me,

Stab me!

Bind me!

Blind me!

Refuse and refute me!

Rebuke me!

Invoke a fist within me!

 

But suddenly I break free…

 

But it is nothing but a day dream

For I have not paid my full fee

Is this is the ultimate must-see?

To seek the uncrossed bridge?

To fight your own liege?

Bleak burning tree

Imagined fiery realm
